Rosalyn Carter said it best: “There are
only four kinds of people in the world – those who have been
caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be
caregivers and those who will need caregivers”.
Caregivers are family, friends and
neighbors who stand by those they love as they face chronic illness,
disability and the ravages of age. We all will know someone at some time taking on this
tireless work. It can be rewarding, but it is more often overwhelming,
exhausting, and very lonely. These are the people that need our
support.
Caregivers are also nurses, doctors,
hospice staff and volunteers, therapists, counselors, or any
professional who helps our hearts heal. For some it's just a
job. For others, it's a god given gift. And you
immediately know the difference. They gave us a touch, a kind
word, a shoulder, when we needed it most.... and we will remember
them forever. PS - Don't send a box of Dunkin Donuts - because
we want them to live longer!
I hope that some of these products will
help you show your support when those that give themselves to others
most need it. To browse gifts,

even change a life.
Your willingness
